360 Booth vs. Digital Photobooth: Which One Is Right for Your Wedding?
Both are great. They do different jobs. Here's how I explain it to couples deciding what to add to their DJ package.
The digital photobooth
A sleek ring-light booth that takes glam-filtered photos with digital props and a custom overlay themed to your wedding, then texts or emails them to guests instantly. Full details here.
- Throughput: fast. Guests walk up, pose, tap, done. No line builds.
- Runs all night: opens after the first dance and stays open to the end of the reception.
- Space: a small footprint with a backdrop. Fits almost any venue.
- Best for: every guest getting a keepsake, grandparents included.
The 360 experience
Guests stand on a lit platform while a camera arm sweeps around them in slow motion, producing a music-video-style clip with your song and custom effects. An attendant runs it. Full details here.
- Throughput: slower by design. Each clip takes a minute or so, and groups wait their turn.
- Showpiece factor: the highest of anything you can put in a reception. People crowd around it.
- Space: needs a clear circle for the arm to rotate safely, so check with your venue.
- Best for: a younger, social-media-forward crowd and couples who want the viral clip.

When to book both
Bigger weddings often do. The digital booth handles volume all night while the 360 gives the dance-floor crowd something to line up for. Bundled with DJ services, it's one vendor, one setup, and bundle pricing.
