How much does a wedding DJ cost?

How far in advance should I book?
Popular Saturdays go early, especially spring and fall. Limited 2026 Dates Remaining • Now Booking 2027 & 2028. If you have a date, check it now.
What areas do you serve?
All of Southeast Texas. I'm based in Lumberton and regularly work Beaumont, Silsbee, Kountze, Vidor, Orange, Bridge City, Nederland, Port Neches, Groves, Port Arthur, Winnie, and the venues in between. See service areas.
Do you travel to Houston, Colorado, or Wyoming?
Yes. Destination weddings and events in Colorado, Wyoming, Houston, and beyond are available for DJ, MC, drone, and video work. Travel, lodging, and related costs are added to the quote. See destination events.
Can you shoot drone footage or video at my event?
Drone footage and event videography are available at your event for the cost of travel and lodging. Ask when you request your quote.
Do you provide ceremony audio?
Yes. A dedicated ceremony system with an officiant mic, plus your processional and recessional music. Details on the ceremony audio page.
Do you take song requests?
If you want me to. Your planning questionnaire asks whether guest requests are welcome, and I follow your answer.
Do you MC the reception?
Yes. Grand entrance, blessing, toasts, cake, first dance, parent dances, bouquet and garter, last dance, and your exit are all announced and cued by me, coordinated with your coordinator and photographer.
What happens if the timeline changes?
It usually does, a little. The run sheet is a plan, not a script. I adjust live, keep your vendors in the loop, and your guests never notice.
How long do you DJ?
Packages are built by the hour to fit your event. Setup and teardown are never billed. Your time starts when your ceremony or event starts. Extra hours can be added the night of your event at $200 per hour.
What equipment do you provide?
Professional sound sized to your venue, dance-floor lighting, wireless microphones for toasts and the officiant, and a separate ceremony setup when needed. Everything arrives with me and is set up before your guests do.
Do you offer photobooths?
Yes. A digital ring-light photobooth and a 360 video experience, bookable with your DJ package or on their own.
Can we create a do-not-play list?
Please do. Must-play, do-not-play, clean versions only, no line dances, all line dances. Your rules.
How does payment work?
A signed agreement and a $250 non-refundable deposit reserve your date. The deposit applies toward your total. The remaining balance is due four weeks before your event. Installment plans are available with zero interest. See payment plans.

Is my ceremony outside a problem?
Not at all, but tell me. Outdoor ceremonies need their own sound, and for June through September events an outdoor coverage consideration is included on your quote so we plan for the heat properly.
