The Lively Oak is a barn venue up in Fred, north of Kountze, and I worked a late-summer wedding there with the reception in the barn and the ceremony outside at sunset.

What to know before your date.
The ceremony site is separate from the barn, which means it needs its own speaker, stand, mic, and player. Plan ceremony audio into your package from the start so it isn't a last-minute add.
The couple provided a Spotify playlist with slow songs front-loaded for dinner and the rest ordered at my discretion, a great way to keep it personal without micromanaging the night.
This one ended with guests on a waterslide and a Pharrell send-off. Country venues let you have fun with the exit.
For summer dates, an outdoor ceremony in the Tyler County heat is something we plan for up front.
